About Robert...

Robert Brown grew up in many places around the world. He was born in Denver, Colorado, and eventually moved through Kansas City, Washington D.C., and Nairobi, Kenya in East Africa. Since 2014, however, he has lived in Colorado Springs, where he discovered his dreams and potentials as a musician and storyteller. He graduated from Liberty High School, which is not only known for its excellence in the academic area, but also for being home to one of the best band programs in the state of Colorado.

As he made a name for himself as a musician at his school, he also branched out and got his hands in several region/state-wide honor groups such as the Colorado All-State Orchestra, the Colorado Springs All-City Honor Concert and Jazz Bands, the University of Colorado in Boulder's Honor Band, and the Colorado All-State Jazz Band. During the summer of 2017, he was invited to play lead trombone for the Summit Jazz Ensemble--a group of talented jazz musicians from around the state, ranging from ages 16-26.

Robert's father, Andy Brown, is also a musician and filmmaker, and has given Robert much of his inspiration for storytelling. In January of 2017, Robert set out to make his first short film, entitled "White Star." It took him four weeks, to write the script, cast it, shoot it, edit it, write the music, and finish it, and was very happy with the results. His love for the art of filmmaking had taken hold and wouldn't let go. During this project, he also realized his potential for writing music, and afterwards started to get more and more into composing, with hopes of writing for multimedia someday.

Robert has recently ventured to Biola University near Los Angeles to study his passions: Film and Music.  After getting his two degrees, he plans to use his gifts on an international scale (traveling being another passion of his). In the meantime, however, Robert will be busy making movies, playing trombone, and writing music; all the things that he loves.
